The first step on your journey towards achieving the smile of your dreams is to come visit your North Dallas cosmetic dentist Dr. Sung-Hee Lee for a consultation. During this initial appointment, she’ll take the time to get to know you and your goals for your smile. Then, she’ll inspect your teeth and gums to make sure veneers are a good choice for you. If you decide to move forward with porcelain veneers, we can typically transform your smile in just two easy appointments.
First, we’ll remove a very thin layer of enamel from the front of your tooth or teeth (about the thickness of a contact lens). This way, your veneer won’t look bulky or unnatural once placed. Then, we’ll take impressions of your teeth and send the information to a dental lab to make your veneers. Since this may take a week or so, we’ll fit you with temporary veneers to keep your teeth safe and comfortable until your next appointment. Before you know it, you’ll be returning to our office to have them removed and replaced with your beautiful permanent porcelain veneers. After we’ve checked to make sure your bite feels comfortable, you’ll be ready to walk out of our office and show off your brand-new smile!
